My name is Vitz Açafat, and I am the editor of the Octagon & Crown. The original idea for this newspaper was to cover just the Republic of Talossa under the title 'The Octagon - the Heart of the Republic.' I decided, though, that it would be wrong to ignore the Kingdom, and maybe worse to cover it in such an avowedly Republican journal. Hence the idea to create two newspapers in one! The Octagon & Crown. In the short time since going public we've had lots for interest from both Talossas and micronationalists further afield. As for me, I'm a former citizen of Penguinea who has recently been enrolled as a citizen of the Republic after finding so many of my ex-Penguinean friends lurking there.
